PVC is popular for its affordability, non-corrosive properties, and versatility, making it a go-to choice for drain lines, venting, and even some water supply systems. In fact, a 2021 survey found that 65% of contractors preferred PVC for infrastructure upgrades. These advantages have led many cities to consider PVC when replacing aging pipelines, especially with recent federal funding available through the EPA’s Drinking Water State Revolving Fund.
